英国宁夏商会正式成立，开启宁英交流合作新篇章UK Ningxia Business Association Established, Opening a New Chapter in Ningxia–UK Relations

2026年4月29日，英国宁夏商会（UK Ningxia Business Association）在英国中华总商会正式注册成立。商会由旅英宁夏籍侨胞、企业家、专业人士、学者、留学生及关心支持宁夏发展的各界友好人士共同发起，是致力于服务侨胞、连接资源、促进合作的非营利性社会组织。商会的成立，为旅英宁夏人士凝聚力量、携手发展搭建了新的平台，也为宁夏与英国拓展经贸往来和人文交流增添了新的纽带。

立足英国、心系宁夏、面向国际，商会将以服务会员和促进宁英合作为核心，广泛联系两地企业、商协会、教育科研机构及社会各界，逐步建立跨行业、多领域的交流网络。商会希望将海外宁夏人士对家乡的深厚情感转化为参与家乡发展、推动国际合作的实际行动，让更多英国企业和公众认识宁夏，也让宁夏的企业、产品与文化走向更广阔的国际舞台。

促进经贸对接，助力宁夏企业开拓海外市场

商会计划围绕葡萄酒、枸杞、羊绒及文化旅游等宁夏特色产业，逐步开展市场信息分享、品牌推介、产品展示和商务对接活动，帮助企业了解英国市场需求、商业环境及相关准入要求。通过联系采购商、渠道合作伙伴和专业服务机构，商会希望为企业探索海外市场提供切实的信息与资源支持。同时，商会将积极推动双向商务考察，向英国企业介绍宁夏的产业基础与发展机遇，促进双方在贸易、投资及项目合作方面建立长期联系。

The UK Ningxia Business Association was officially registered with the UK Chinese General Chamber of Commerce on 29 April 2026. Founded by members of the Ningxia community in the UK, including entrepreneurs, professionals, academics and students, alongside supporters of Ningxia’s development, the Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving its community, connecting people and resources, and promoting cooperation. Its establishment provides a new platform for people with ties to Ningxia to work together and strengthens the connections supporting business and cultural exchange between Ningxia and the UK.

Based in the UK, connected to Ningxia and international in outlook, the Association will place member services and bilateral cooperation at the centre of its work. It aims to build relationships across businesses, trade associations, educational and research institutions, and the wider community. Through these connections, the Association hopes to turn a shared commitment to Ningxia into practical opportunities, helping UK businesses and the public discover the region while supporting a wider international presence for Ningxia’s companies, products and culture.

Connecting Businesses and Supporting International Expansion

The Association plans to develop market briefings, promotional events, product showcases and business introductions focused on Ningxia’s distinctive industries, including wine, goji berries, cashmere and cultural tourism. These activities will help companies understand UK consumer demand, business conditions and relevant market entry requirements. By building contacts with buyers, distribution partners and professional advisers, the Association aims to provide useful information and connections for businesses exploring overseas markets. It will also encourage visits in both directions, introducing UK companies to Ningxia’s industries and opportunities for long-term trade, investment and project cooperation.

Bringing Together Talent and Encouraging Educational and Scientific Exchange

The Association will encourage the participation of UK-based professionals, academics and students through talks, industry discussions and career experience sharing. Over time, it hopes to connect universities, research institutions and businesses in Ningxia and the UK, exploring opportunities for academic exchange, professional visits and collaborative innovation projects. This work will create opportunities for people in both regions to share expertise and develop new partnerships.

Sharing Ningxia’s Culture and Developing Tourism Connections

The Association intends to explore cultural events, tourism presentations and themed exchanges that introduce UK audiences to Ningxia’s history, landscapes, local products and contemporary development. By developing relationships with local communities, cultural organisations and tourism businesses, it hopes to encourage greater interest in visiting Ningxia and support closer connections between people in both regions.

Supporting the Community and Building an Inclusive Membership Network

The Association will work to maintain close contact with the Ningxia community in the UK and welcome others who share an interest in the region. Plans include regular member communication, social gatherings, experience sharing and mutual support. Particular attention will be given to involving younger members and students, with opportunities to learn from established professionals, broaden their networks and maintain connections with Ningxia. The aim is to build an organisation in which members feel a sense of belonging and can contribute actively.

The Association’s establishment marks the beginning of a long-term commitment.
